What Is Your Look?

Everyone has a go to look that they wear on a daily basis, which could be just your favorite color lipstick, lipstick and eyeliner, or a full made up face. For me my favorite look and style is vintage, I just think that the vintage look is classic, timeless, glamour, elegant and fierce. To me the Pin-Up look which some say was made famous by pin-up models back in the day with the sexy poses, the tight clothing and the pin-up sexy hair with the french roll and pompadour which is still in style today. The very first time I seen the pin-up make-up look was a picture of Marilyn Monroe, with the neutral tone eyeshadow, arched eye brows, black cat eyeliner and the all important red lipstick. You can’t go wrong with a vintage look. The vintage look is appropriate during the day, night, wedding, or graduation, you just can’t go wrong with the pin-up look. The word vintage just represents sophistication, someone who is sure of themselves, comfortable, confidant, calm, cool and collective. My favorite part about the look is the RED LIPSTICK. No matter if your light or dark I feel that anyone can wear any shade of red lipstick, red lipstick looks good on any skin tone. Something about red lipstick just screams power and sexiness all at the same time, when I am wearing red lipstick specifically MAC Ruby Woo I feel it brightens my face and enhances my look and of course we all know that red lipstick makes your teeth whiter. I have posted pictures below of vintage looks, just to show how the classic pin-up look can be worn.

Cage Diamond Hoop Earrings

The Cage Diamond Hoop Earrings is another creation from Melody Ehsani. If you are looking for a hoop earring to wear, the Cage Diamond Hoop Earrings are the ones to get. The gold plated hoop earrings are very light weight and not to thin or thick, are comfortable to wear on your ear lobes. Now if you have long hair I do recommend doing a updo hairstyle when deciding to wear these earrings, so your hair will not get tangled in your earrings. What makes these earrings so likable is the cage diamond embellishment thats brings the attention to the earrings. If your one of those gals who like to have matching jewelry Melody Ehsani also has the matching Cage Diamond Ring and the Double Cage Diamond Ring. To purchase these earrings and rings or if you just want to visit Melody Ehsani website just click on the first picture below. Thank you for checking out my blog, and like always see you at the next post.

EarJeans

I am starting a blog series that should have been done a long time ago, when it comes to blogging your never to late. How can I describe Etsy? I guess you can say it is an online retail site where designers sale their creations for a reasonable price. If you want to find original items to wear or even decorate your house, than Etsy is the place to go. I found the site by going on a Google search one day looking for a Hello Kitty iPhone 4s phone cover, the first website that popped up in my Google search was Esty. As I browsed for phone covers I also saw jewelry and accessories on Etsy that were created by regular people like you and me. Each designer has his or her own shop on Etsy were you can like and save as your favorite shops. So the next time you want to purchase from that particular shop all you have to do is login and click on your favorite shops. There are items on Esty that can be a bit pricey but that depends on what you are looking for, you can find jewelry, arts and crafts, items for weddings, home and living items, vintage or whatever your looking for in one place. Etsy is like Bed, Bath and Beyond, Hobby Lobby or Michaels, Sam Moon or Charming Charlie and a thrift store all put together in one website. You can look up items by categories or just type what you are looking for in the search bar whatever is easier for you. When making purchases you can use Etsy gift cards towards your purchase, but I am not sure how you go by obtaining gift cards. Once I find that out I will provide the information, on how you can by obtaining an Etsy gift card either on this blog or on the next blog. So with that said let me start the first Etsy series by sharing with you peeps what I purchase on Esty.

If you have an Esty account you will want to like and add EarJeans to your favorite shop. All of the earrings that I purchased from EarJeans you will fall in love with. EarJeans is run and own by Tasha LaRae who is a wonderful designer and very detailed with her pieces. As stated on her business card it is “Jewelry that fits you like your favorite pair of jeans.” Which is so very true all of the earrings that I have purchased from EarJeans can be worn dressed up or down, and are statement pieces. The quality of each earrings are fantastic each piece pictured below are made with fabric that are glazed with protective non-toxic coating of modge pod to help the fabric from smudges and prevents the fabric from fading. The button earrings measure about 1 1/2″ wide, the bigger cotton fabric earrings like the green circle earrings measure 3 1/2″ wide and are so light weight so you don’t have to worry about any tugging of your ear lobes. The metal post that Ms. LaRae uses are hypo allergenic which is a plus, because if you are like me and have sensitive skin you will not break out or worry about itching when wearings these earrings. The earrings prints will be just a tad different because it is made out of fabric, no two pieces are completely the same. But honestly you will not be able to tell the difference. I just love Ms. Tasha LaRae earrings there stylish, vibrant, made to last, and can be paired with anything you wear. These earrings will give you so many compliments you’ve been warn!!! You can also get custom orders just let her know what you want and she will create it for you, her response time is quick and professional when communicating with Ms. Tasha LaRae it’s like talking to a family member. If you like these earrings and want to purchase or check out other designs from Tasha LaRae please check out EarJeans by clicking on the first picture below. Thank you for checking out my blog and see you at the next blog!!!

Aquatic Eyes, Pink Lips and Hologram Earrings

If your looking for a bright expressive look to wear, well I have one for you. Paring blue, pink and a pair of Melody Ehsani Turquoise Hologram Earrings will definitely get you a lot of attention. I was just sitting around the house throwing a lot of junk away and found some eyeshadows I haven’t used in a while and came up with a look. I paired this look with a Maybelline New Vivids collection #905 Brazen Berry that I purchased at Walgreens a day ago. Maybelline New Vivids Color Sensational collection are very moisturizing and creamy on your lips that does last all day, only time you will need to reapply is when you had lunch or a drink of water etc. The finish is like a cream sheen and its almost a dupe for MAC’S Style Curve.  It does not stain your lips when its time to remove your lipstick. You can purchase Brazen Berry at Walgreens for $7.99, or at Target at a cheaper price for $5.54. Thank you for visiting my blog, and see you at the next post.

I AM DONE BEING A PRODUCT JUNKIE!!!

Since I made it to a year of transitioning I decided to start making my own oils, based on research and recommendations. Plus I just got tired being a product junkie, and buying products that did nothing for my scalp and hair. So far my creation has really moisturizer my scalp, stop the itching and minimize the flakes. I think I have found my staple products. Like I said I did my own research and listen to recommendations, no way am I saying the products I am using will work for everyone else. FINALLY I HAVE FOUND SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!

*All products that are included in this video have been purchased and paid for by me, I am not being sponsored or being paid to show these products.
